My Specialties
Every woman I work with is different. These are the areas I work with most often. If you don't see your struggle listed here, please reach out anyway. If I can't help, I'll point you in the right direction.
Figuring Out If You Want Kids
For the woman who feels behind on a timeline she never agreed to
Everyone around you seems to have it figured out. Your friends are getting married, having babies, announcing pregnancies. Your family asks at every gathering. Your partner has opinions. And somewhere underneath all of that noise, there is a quieter question that you can barely hear yourself think long enough to answer.
Do I actually want this?
This page is for you if you are sitting with that question. Not because something is wrong with you. But because it is a question that you deserve a space to explore without pressure, without judgment, and without someone else's timeline.
You might be finding yourself here if you relate to any of these:
Anxiety about time. Not because you know what you want but because you feel like you are supposed to have decided by now
Comparing yourself to friends, colleagues, or people you follow online and feeling like they have it all figured out
Wondering if you actually want children or if you have just always assumed you would because that is “just what people do”
Feeling like something is wrong with you for not feeling certain
Sitting with the egg freezing question — wondering if you should, what it means if you do or if you don't
Grieving a version of your life you thought you would have by now
You scroll through your feed and another person you know is pregnant, engaged, buying a house. And you sit there wondering how everyone seems to have it so together. Your parents had a family, a home, a whole life built by your age. And you look at where you are, and it just does not match the picture you had in your head.
Maybe you are not where you thought you would be in your career yet. Maybe you do not have a partner. Maybe you do, and you are still not sure. Maybe you want kids someday, but someday feels like a moving target, and the pressure of everyone else's timeline is making it impossible to hear your own thoughts.
This is a space to slow down and figure out what you actually want. Not what your parents had. Not what your friends are doing. What you want.
The version of your life you pictured at 22 was made with 22-year-old information. You know more now. You are allowed to want something different than what you planned. You are also allowed to grieve the plan, even if the new one turns out to be better.
When Life Doesn't Look The Way You Planned
How We Work Through It
There is no right answer to whether or when to have children. But there is your answer, and finding it takes space, honesty, and time free from external pressure.
In our work together, we will slow down enough to separate what you actually want from what you have been told to want. We will look at the fears, the assumptions, the comparisons, and the pressure, and underneath all of that, we will try to find what is actually true for you.
You do not have to decide today. You just have to start talking about it.
The Egg Freezing Question
For many women, egg freezing has become a way of buying time, and with that comes a whole new set of questions and emotions. Should I do it? What does the process even look like? What does it actually involve physically and emotionally? What if I do it and never use them? What if I don't do it and regret it?
Most women feel completely in the dark about how it actually works. The medical information is out there, but nobody is talking about what it feels like to sit with that decision, what it stirs up, and what it means for your sense of self and your future.
These are not just logistical questions. They are emotional ones. And they deserve more than a quick consultation with your doctor. Therapy can be a space to make sure you feel truly informed and supported throughout the entire process. To understand not just what egg freezing involves but what it means for you personally. To process whatever comes up along the way. And to figure out what you actually want without anyone rushing you to a conclusion.
